There have been times that it was very difficult to find a open store on Sundays in Paris. But situation is getting better these days. Since 2018, there are 51 Monoprix that open on Sundays (out of 58 of them in total).
I have been looked through thier official website and found out, the information there is not quite up-to-date. So, I would highly recommend you would not just follow the information on official website and head there with your girlfriends or wives especially when they are hungry. You know, they can get really cranky when they are hungry, especially during trips where we walk a lot.

Monoprix is quite convenient and they have many choices of groceries . But many of Parisien(ne) go to marchés every weekend because of super fresh foods , meeting agricultural producers and professionals.
